If you are on antibiotics or using topical acne treatments such as Retinols, Epiduo, Differin, or Alpha Hydroxy Acids, keep in mind that these can lead to skin sensitivity and peeling during waxing.

You must be off Accutane for 6 months before waxing.

Our services cater mainly to male clients for booking. Yet, exceptions are made for intimate waxing services like bikini, Brazilian, and butt waxes.

Facial and body waxing is a personal choice that can be made by the child and parent when they feel ready. For individuals aged 17 or younger, a parental or guardian consent form is necessary. Although a parent or guardian must accompany the minor for the initial appointment, they do not have to be present during the service.

  • Facial areas every 2 to 4 weeks
  • Underarms every 2 to 4 weeks
  • Bikini/Brazilian every 4 to 6 weeks
  • All other body areas every 4 to 6 weeks

Note that these recommendations may vary depending on the individual.

Certainly! Just remember that you might have increased sensitivity during this time. If you're uncertain about waxing while pregnant, it's advisable to seek advice from your doctor before proceeding.

Having a hemorrhoid is a common occurrence and nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about. Many individuals often question the possibility of having a butt strip during a Brazilian, and the answer is yes!

Avoid picking at ingrown hairs! This action can worsen irritation and result in scarring. At Tina’s Touch, we provide advice on aftercare products in-store tailored to treat ingrown hairs, dark spots, and hyperpigmentation. These products are selected based on your skin sensitivity and the type of ingrown hair or irritation to enhance your waxing outcomes.

You can certainly opt for a bikini or Brazilian wax even while on your period, just ensure you have a fresh tampon or menstrual cup beforehand (which we offer in our bathroom). It's typical to feel more sensitivity during the waxing session, but rest assured, this is perfectly normal.

We've all heard the saying "beauty is pain," and although there's some truth to it, waxing doesn't have to be a painful ordeal. The hair follicles being larger than the pores they exit from can cause some discomfort. Yet, my goal is to ensure a comfortable and swift experience for you. I'll engage you and do my best to minimize any discomfort during the process.

  • Begin with a warm shower or bath to open your pores.
  • Take Tylenol or Ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment.
  • Opt for loose-fitted clothing.
  • Exfoliate the day before your appointment to remove dead skin cells around the hair follicles.
  • Avoid consuming caffeine and alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
  • Achieving results that last longer
  • No risk of cuts or nicks Hair regrowth is slower and finer
  • Avoid uncomfortable stubble
  • Enjoy long-lasting smooth skin
  • Experience less irritation compared to shaving
  • Decreased chance of ingrown hairs

For any body part, the hair should ideally be a quarter of an inch long or about the length of a grain of rice, which usually corresponds to two to three weeks of growth. If your hair is longer than that, there's no need to trim it. I've got you covered!
